I'm a North Carolina based product designer with a background in textile design and a current focus on soft goods. I spent the first four years of my professional life designing woven upholstery for the residential and hospitality markets. I have a passion for texture, fibers and color which I continue to explore outside of my career through my own creative outlets. For the past five years I've been working in the mattress industry, specifically developing sewn covers for the fast growing bed-in-a- box segment. Leading the development for sewn products has exposed me to sales, engineering, LEAN manufacturing, product management and marketing, all things I'm learning that I enjoy on top of designing. In order to advance my career and open myself up to more opportunities, I'm currently focusing on certifications such as AIPMM Certified Product Manager and Certified Product Marketing Manager.
